Is the preview really free?
Yes. One free preview per website (and per account) every 30 days, with no card required. It stays available for 7 days. You only pay if you decide to put the new site live.
My old website is offline. Can I still use SiteRewrite?
Yes. Upload a .zip of your old website's files (the HTML or PHP pages, up to 25 MB). We read the text of your pages — never code, configuration files or databases — and rewrite it just like a live site.
Will my current website be affected?
No. We only read your public pages. Your old website stays exactly as it is until you choose to point your domain at SiteRewrite.
Is it a real website or just a mockup?
A real, working multi-page website with navigation, a contact form and mobile layouts — served on a temporary preview link that search engines are told not to index.
What does "rewrite" include?
A redesigned visual layout, fully rewritten page copy, relevant new images, a live Cloudflare preview and optional hosting on your own domain.
Do you make things up about my business?
No. We use the facts on your current website and remove claims it doesn't support, like awards, licences, reviews or statistics. You review and correct your business details before anything goes live.
What kinds of websites work best?
Informational sites for trades, local services, cafés and restaurants, clinics, professional firms and other small businesses. Online shops, member portals and custom applications aren't converted automatically.
What are AI credits?
Hosting keeps your site live. Credits are only for optional AI changes, such as rewriting a page or adding a section. You always see the exact credit price before confirming, failed attempts are free, and purchased credits don't expire.
Do I keep my domain and email?
Yes. Your domain stays registered with you, and we never touch your email records. You add one DNS record when you're ready to go live.
How long does it take?
Usually 5–15 minutes for a typical small-business site, depending on the size of your site and how busy we are. We show the real progress as it happens and can email you when it's done.
